Each Mass requested has a $10.00 stipend for the Priest.
Your Mass Intention requested will be added to the Mass Book ONLY after the stipend is received. Dates and Mass times cannot be guaranteed.
Mass Stipend payments are accepted at the Parish Office or in an envelope marked with 'Mass Stipend and YOUR Name' and placed in the USPS mail or Sunday Collection Basket.

To All Volunteers:
All Volunteers are required to complete the Pittsburgh Diocese Safe Envirionment Compliance Database and complete, Step 1 through Step 4.

For Parish Volunteers who will be in contact with children or meet in the same meeting space, while those children are in the care of the School or Church are required to complete the Pittsburgh Diocese Safe Environment Compliance Database and complete Step 1 thorugh Step 5.

Important Information:
1. If your current job requires you to have any of the required clearances, for example: a nurse, teacher, healthcare provider, etc. the Church will accept a valid (within 5 years of its requested date) copy. You will not need to repeat your clearance until it expires, please remember when you update your clearances to provide a copy to the Safe Environment Coordinator to maintain your compliance at Church.
2. There is no expense for a volunteer to obtain their clearances for the Church.
Since the fire, St. Matthias Church is no longer a place of worship!
However, it will always hold a place in our hearts.
